Communicate 26:
Scaling Trust in the Age of AI

Join Mail Metrics in London on 12 November, with industry practitioners and AI speakers, as they discuss the impact of technology and regulation facing customer communications teams today.

At last year’s conference roundtable discussions, the one thing that kept surfacing was: trust. Trust in security, in the clarity of communications, in consistency across channels, and even between teams internally. Customer communications are often the most visible point of contact between an organisation and its customers. When they’re unclear, inconsistent or poorly designed, trust breaks down.

Communicate 26 will address the immediate tension facing organisations today: AI is already reshaping customer communications, while customer expectations and regulatory scrutiny continue to rise.

As organisations move faster to adopt new technologies, the risk of inconsistency, poor design or unclear messaging grows, putting trust under pressure. And as regulation continues to sharpen the focus on transparency, data responsibility and customer understanding, communications are no longer just outputs; they are a direct reflection of how an organisation operates.

Join our speakers as they look at how trust is built through clarity, consistency and control, both externally with customers and internally across teams, and what it takes to scale that trust when AI is part of the system.

We are building on the success of last year's the interactive sessions and creating the Innovation Hub, a space for showcasing innovation, customer success and practical applications of the Mail Metrics platform.

Drawing on new Mail Metrics research into consumer attitudes towards AI, they’ll examine the gap between what organisations can do with AI and what their customers actually expect.

From incident to individual, What does good breach response look like in 2026?

Mark Read Head of Data Breach Solutions, TransUnion
Ellie Ludlam Partner, Pinsent Masons LLP
Kirsten Maley Director of Claims for Cowbell

Data breaches are no longer solely a technical or regulatory challenge. How an organisation responds in the days and weeks following an incident can have a lasting impact on customers, reputation, costs and stakeholder trust.

As cyber attacks continue to evolve and regulatory scrutiny increases, organisations face difficult decisions under intense pressure. When should customers be notified? What support should be offered? How can legal, insurance and operational response teams work together to minimise harm and achieve the best possible outcome?

Join a panel of experts representing the legal, insurance and consumer response perspectives as they explore what good breach response looks like in today's environment. Through real-world insights and practical discussion, the panel will examine the critical decisions made in the first hours of an incident, the challenges of communicating with affected individuals, and the role of identity protection and remediation services in reducing the impact of a breach. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of how to strengthen their breach preparedness, improve coordination between response partners and better support those affected when an incident occurs.
