Let’s dig deep for Alzheimer’s

Our chosen charity partners for 2025 are Alzheimer's Society and The Alzheimer Society of Ireland. Earlier this year, we asked colleagues to vote on their charity partner of choice, and the Alzheimer’s cause was the clear winner. It’s a disease that impacts widely, and both of our charity partners are at the front-line, providing support, funding research and campaigning to make dementia a priority issue.

We were honoured to host The Alzheimer Society of Ireland team in Dublin in August, and their lunch-time information session was well attended by colleagues in person and via Teams. Similarly, a lunch-time Teams presentation from Alzheimer’s Society in the UK was attended by colleagues from across our sites.

We’re determined to do our bit and make a difference, just as we did for the MND Association last year. And once again, we have some sparkling events planned that will drive the fundraising, raise a few smiles and generate excitement and interest along the way.

Get smART! is back!

The return of our online auction of celeb and artist-designed envelopes is hotly anticipated, building on the buzz and success of the launch event last year. We already have some fantastic names committing to the cause, and we’ll be showcasing these stunning envelopes over the weeks leading up to the auction in November.

KMs for a Cause

Our KMs for a Cause mission is also back, tasking colleagues with amassing virtual kilometres by walking, biking, swimming, running and completing everyday tasks such as dog-walking or hoovering. We’re aiming for a total of 19,000 KMs that takes us (virtually) via all our offices in the UK and Ireland, on to California and finishing at our office in Poland.

We saw last year how our collective group effort can deliver fantastic results for charity. We go again in 2025, raising vital funds, and showing the world the true spirit of our business.

Data-rich, insight-poor – the analytics gap undermining CCM strategy

We’ve never had more data at our fingertips, yet when it comes to communications, many organisations are still struggling to turn that data into useful insight. And this isn't just a CCM problem. Gartner's research [1] points to a broader challenge: while organisations increasingly want to become data-driven, many still struggle to demonstrate how analytics is actually influencing business outcomes. In fact, Gartner found that just 22% of organisations had defined, tracked and communicated business-impact metrics for the majority of their data and analytics use cases. So, are organisations really using the data they have to make smarter decisions – or are other factors still calling the shots?

Aligning CCM AI Investment – Where Hype Meets Reality

Artificial intelligence has rapidly moved from future aspiration to boardroom agenda. Across customer communications management (CCM), organisations are under increasing pressure to understand not only where AI can deliver value, but also how much they should be investing to remain competitive.

The Digital Cocktail – Perfecting the Mix

The future of customer communication is not about choosing a single “winning” channel. It is about managing an increasingly complex mix of channels, technologies, customer expectations, and regulatory obligations - all at the same time.

Navigating the Grey Area of Consent and Compliance

Ambiguity around consent rules is emerging as one of the most persistent brakes on digital transformation across regulated industries, with organisations finding themselves caught between innovation and compliance.
